Rick Rizzolo Headed Back to Prison for Violation of Supervised Release

Rick Rizzolo, former owner of the Crazy Horse Too strip club, is headed back to federal prison for nine (9) months for violating the terms of his supervised release. Rizzolo pled guilty in 2006 to tax evasion. He was sentenced to a year in prison. He served ten (10) months and then was placed on supervised release. Prosecutors and probation officers claimed that, over the last few years, Rizzolo had been living a lavish lifestyle while deceiving his probation officers and hiding money to avoid paying restitution.

Probation violations and parole violations are extremely serious. When a court sentences an offender to probation (or if a person is released from prison on parole), there is additional jail or prison time hanging over that person's head. If the person violates the terms of the probation or parole, they can be sent to jail or prison to finish serving the remaining jail or prison time.
