Marijuana is a very controversial drug that is undergoing a transformation in today's society. While many people view marijuana, or "pot," as a perfectly acceptable form of medical therapy, law enforcement is not always so open-minded. Even if you have a prescription for marijuana, you can get in trouble if you have too much in your possession.
There are a variety of circumstances that can result in drug crime charges. If you have been found to be holding a certain amount of marijuana, you could be charged with the standard drug possession. If you have been found growing marijuana, you could be charged with the cultivation of drugs. If you have been caught selling marijuana, you will be charged with felony drug trafficking.
If you have been charged with possession of marijuana, contact a Las Vegas criminal defense lawyer from the Brown Law Offices today at (888) 654-6340!
